The Cottage is furnished to a high standard with full central heating and an electric log effect fire in the lounge.
Pyegreave Cottages are situated near Kinder Scout and Edale which are at the bottom of the Pennine Way and is in a perfect area for keen walkers and the not so serious walkers who may prefer a shorter loop.
The cottage sits on the hillside outside the village of Combs, near Chapel-en-le-Frith. The stables formed part of one of the old barns on Pyegreave Farm, which in 1840 was purchased at a local auction by Florence Nightingale’s father who lived in the village for a considerable time.
The cottages have outstanding views down the Combs valley, up to Castle Naze and Combs Moss and is situated in the Peak District National Park, Britain’s first National Park.
